IS THIS YOU?

Common issues you may be able to relate to:

[EVENT] Coaching Value

Coaching Value

Struggling to get buy-in?
Senior managers aren’t engaged in your coaching programme, making it hard to demonstrate real value.

Low leader engagement?
Leaders lack the motivation, skills, or confidence to coach effectively across different teams and situations.

Coaching Strategy

Coaching Strategy

Unclear on outcomes?
There are no clear goals or measures for coaching, so leaders have little incentive to prioritise it.

Just ticking the box?
Coaching feels like a compliance exercise, rather than a driver of real growth and change.

Coaching Culture

Coaching Culture

Not seeing a return?
Your investment in coaching isn’t delivering the impact you expected from your leaders.

Lacking cohesion?
Coaching efforts are fragmented, without a unified, organisation-wide approach.

"

“We don’t see senior leaders doing this, why just us?”

“I don’t believe I can coach well enough, and I won’t make a difference to those I work with.”

“Coaching is just a soft skill and therefore not a priority in my leadership”

“I see it as an addition to my leadership role rather than an integral core part of it, so I don’t do it…”

“I thought coaching was just a formal activity done at set times for set periods with employees, rather than a style of leadership or communication”

“I have been ‘put’ on coaching training and then expected by the organisation to coach, but I am not given the support, time or encouragement to coach”

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Hi, I’m Nick. Why listen to me?

Nick Howell

NICK HOWELL

Workplace Coach, Coach Development Facilitator and Assessor

About Nick Howell

I’m a passionate Workplace Coach, Trainer, Coaching Programme Designer, and published Author.

My passion for coaching began in 2002 after being given a free coaching weekend in Yorkshire. It was transformational. Since then, I’ve been hooked on helping others get the most from their coaching training and development.

I’m a qualified coach CIPD, EMCC, certified DiSC trainer, and an organisational coach supervisor.

Experience:

  • Trained 250+ people in coaching and mentoring
  • Supervised 80+ candidates through their coaching qualifications
  • Designed and assessed coaching programmes for organisations across the UK
  • I was the first to bring ILM coaching qualifications to Wales.

What drives me:

Helping trained leaders unlock the full potential of their coaching skills is my passion. I’ve seen that, too often, leaders don’t fully integrate coaching into their day-to-day roles.

This realisation led me to write a book, Great Coaching Questions, on the art of asking powerful questions, an essential skill for both leaders and coaches.

Through conversations with leaders, I’ve discovered some eye-opening reasons behind this gap. As an industry, it’s vital that we listen and respond, so we can truly maximise the impact of coaching in our organisations. If we don’t, we risk limiting our return on investment and undermining the value of internal coaching. The choice and the opportunity are ours…

Ready to unlock your coaching potential?

Attend my free masterclass. I look forward to meeting you!

Client feedback

“Motivational and energising…

“Nick is an engaging and charismatic trainer, which is a massive benefit when you are spending three days on a course. This was a great training session that was pitched at the correct level and was motivational and energising.”

– Corporate training attendee

“Applicable, interactive and challenging…

“My aim after this course is to set my team up for success. Nick is an amazing trainer, very engaged and created a safe and open environment where everyone could share their own experience from which we could learn and grow. He provided valuable insights and made this course applicable and interactive; he challenged our own assumptions and gave us tools to become better coaches.”

– Leadership mentoring client

“Freed up my time to develop my leadership skills…

“With support from Nick I’ve focused on key areas that enabled me step back from the day-to-day operations, giving me more space to be an effective manager. That, in turn, has freed up time to develop my leadership skills and grow within my role.”

– 1:1 Coaching client

“My work life balance is back on track…

“The monthly meetings with Nick made me maintain focus and reflect regularly. My line manager has fed back to me that she has noticed some really positive changes in my approach to work and managing my time more effectively as well. My work life balance is back on track which is brilliant”

FAQs

If you have any questions not listed below, please email us and we will respond promptly.

Will the session be recorded?

Yes, if you sign up for the session and can’t attend, I’ll send a link to the replay afterwards. However, I want you to get as much value as possible, and encourage you to attend live, to benefit from the practical tips and insights I will share, plus the chance to get your questions answered.

Is there a sales pitch?

My goal is to share workplace coaching strategies and actionable content that you can use straight away. Because I will be giving so much value for free, this is an opportunity to experience my unique approach, see me in action and decide if we are a good fit. As such, towards the end of the masterclass, I will share more about my coaching workshops and how they could help you and your organisation overcome these challenges. There is no pressure to sign up.

I want to be upfront with you: I will briefly mention my coaching workshops during the session, just so you know what else I offer. But honestly, that’s not what this free masterclass is about. My main focus is to share valuable workplace coaching strategies and actionable content that you can start using right away. It’s also a great opportunity for you to get to know me and see if my approach resonates with you. If you find it helpful and want to explore more, that’s entirely your choice—there’s absolutely no pressure to sign up for anything.

Who is this masterclass for?

This masterclass is for you if:

  • You’re a professional, manager, or part of a team, and you want to boost your workplace performance using effective coaching techniques.
  • You’re just starting out with coaching or you’ve already got some experience and want to deepen your skills, you’ll find plenty of practical value here.
  • You or anyone in your organisation is interested in developing coaching skills to improve team dynamics, leadership, and overall performance.
  • You’re looking for actionable strategies you can apply straight away—no matter your current level—this is for you.

What if I can’t attend live?

If you can’t join live, please still sign up for the session, as I’ll send a link to the replay afterwards. The only thing you’ll miss is the live Q&A, where you could ask your own questions and get immediate feedback. But you’ll still have access to all the valuable content and practical tips from the session so you can watch it whenever works best for you.

How will this masterclass help me?

It will help you to take a more holistic and meaningful approach to comprehensively pitching coaching to your organisation in a more systemic, value-added way. Where you have existing programmes, it will enable you to examine and scrutinise what might or might not be working or working as fully for you, and how you can potentially change that. Also, if you have an existing coaching offering in your organisation, how can you take it to the next level of development and professionalism?

I am an internal coach, is there value in me attending?

Yes! As an internal coach, there are always opportunities to further your coach development and knowledge, as well as how coaching is ‘done’ in your organisation. Being able to take ideas from the masterclass and share them with your business to improve the coaching offering puts you in a great space. As an internal coach, you also have the opportunity to influence other coaches in their practice and thinking.
